Tatting done by me some 15 or more years ago

Before marriage I had lot of time to spend my time in doing embroidery etc.  I had learnt to do Tatting, embroidery, crochet and knitting. I had time to do drawings also.

But after marriage I could not spend much time in these. I am posting below the tatting done by me some 15 years ago. I dont remember exactly when I had done this.

Karthigai is a festival of lights celebrated by South Indians in the month of Karthigai which is between November 15th and December 15th every year. The women decorate inside and outside the house with many diyas which are kept on the rangoli drawn by them.

This festival is celebrated for the health of their brothers by the women. The brother gives cash to their sister. My sister in law gives me a gift every year for Karthigai which can be preserved always. This year she gave me a bedsheet in which she had done wonderful patch work. Here is the lovely gift
